The sign below is somewhat Christmas-Country but I love it and it's casually hanging on a chair I recovered two years back and keep next to the front door as a "catch all" spot.

Are you noticing a theme? I basically scattered loose ornaments in (and around) my normal decorations. This "d" is in a simply silver frame inside a large glass canister. I like that the dimensions added by putting the frame inside the canister.
Gold glittered snowflakes light up a simply candle inside a glass hurricane vase -- which are sitting on top of my (very!) favorite Penguin Classics books.
