I've blogged twice about ideas for decoration for the wall space over my couch. I first wanted to go with mirrors, then thought a chandelier decal would be neat ... but ... I am switching back to the mirrors idea. I took a good look at the space visually last night and my apartment really is so tiny that my #1 goal for that space is to expand, visually, the apartment as much as possible. And mirrors are the quickest way to accomplish that. I also already have a design painted onto the wall behind my bed. In such a small space, I think one wall applique is enough; I don't want the two designs to clash.
So now the decision needs to be made of what type of mirrors to add to the wall. I currently have one oval mirror hanging. It's currently hanging horizontally, but could be hung vertically. I think I'll take a good look around at the mirrors available (check list: HomeGoods, Target, post-Christmas Sales!) and also designs that catch my eye. There certainly is no rush, so I'll be sure to wait for bargain pieces I love.
