The first chair was part of my grandma and grandpa's dining set. Not particularly valuable, but definitely made in the 30s or 40s and of course I love having a piece of family history around.
The white chair below is a classic ladder back with a wicker seat. It has been in my room since I don't even know when. It's not the most comfortable chair (such a straight back) but I love the look of it. I rarely sit in it, but it sure does look nice ;)
Black paint, paint tape and brushes already on hand, two yards of black toile fabric ... this project was $50 at the most. Oh and the staple gun I bought, which I LOVE! Go get one, so efficient.
