Last night I volunteered for the first time with Donate Life IL at the Josh Turner concert here in Chicago and it was phenomenal. Not only was I able to finally volunteer AND see a great country artist, but my very best friend was right beside me the whole night!
I also met a wonderful volunteer who lost her husband a year and a half ago to a heart disease. He was a donor and so she is now active in the Donate Life volunteers.
It's Friday, it's the weekend (almost) and I am a very grateful little lady this morning.
