The photo below was taken about a week after I was laid off from my first job. It was taken almost exactly two years ago and it's amazing how much has changed since then. Being laid off is an awful experience. But after all the tears had come out, I remember (so clearly!!) taking a HUGE deep breath and as I slowly let it out, I knew everything was happening for a reason.
That relief and that trust in the unknown plan is embodied in this picture. It was taken at my friend's lake house during a girls weekend. The sun was shining and the lake was absolutely gorgeous. I kept skating around in circles, feeling my lungs fill with cool, fresh air. Feels good to look back on it knowing how wonderfully parts of that unknown plan have been unfolding ...
